It is my understanding the next release of the iPhone will not include YouTube anymore.

Apple also is looking to eliminate alot of Google connectivity, will I still be able to sync my email, contacts and calendars with Google?

Without the ability to sync this with Google will be a deal-breaker for myself and our company...

Please inform...

I don't mind about YouTube, but I'll bet you can still sync Gmail stuff. That'd be a huge mistake if they eliminated that.

Thats the first I've heard about apple omitting google and you tube facilities.

Do you have a link ?

Yes, this is true. I have iOS 6 beta and can verify this. : )

Thanks for your reply and confirmation... Can you tell me if ISO 6 still allows for setting up an account to sync my email, contacts and calendars with Google?

Don't care about YouTube but google is a must... Thanks

I believe it does but I don't sync mine. I can't see them taking THAT away. Many very unhappy people!

Apple and Google are going their seperate ways as they have not been seeing eye to eye. The major Google implemented software in iOS will be removed. This includes the stock Youtube app (as YouTube is owned by Google) and the Google version of the Maps app. There may be other features included in this but you need not worry about your email account. iOS will still support the setup of Google Mail. On top of that the Google seach provider for the Safari app will also still be available. If everyone did their own research they would already know by now that not every Google feature is being removed. Only the major stuff. Also Google will be making the YouTube app available in the app store once iOS 6 is released to the public but will include many new features. Hope this eases your mind.
