iPhone please HELP: receiving no alerts on incoming calls and texts

I am now only receiving alerts when my husband and sister call me. No other people, not even the others in my "Favorites." No alerts for other calls/texts, so I miss them all! I have checked my Sounds and all seems in order.

This has been driving me crazy. There must be a quick solution to this—I hope. Thanks for any help!

So what is different with your husband and sister?

Make sure you do not have the "Do Not Disturb" setting on. It will show a quarter moon symbol in the status bar at the top. You can manage it in settings, but quickly turn it on and off in the control center.

Thank you so much! I went into Do Not Disturb Settings. I somehow had set it to only allow incoming calls from Favorites. Don't know why I didn't hear my daughter's calls (also in Favorites), but I may not have had my phone near when that happened.
