I have a jailbroken iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1.1.

A few days ago it started buzzing and vibrating ramdomly, like when there's a new email. Sometimes it buzzes and vibrates repeatedly until it suddenly stops. This afternoon it happened several times, one after the other.

I do not use push notifications for email, and already checked if that's what causing the problem. I also disabled almost every notification.

I even checked my email account, on the computer, right after the buzz, but there was no new email.

If I somehow disable wi-fi, the buzz/vibration stops. If I turn it back on, it cames back. But there is no notifications, no messages and no emails.

Already did a hard reset, didn't worked.

Does it happen to anyone else? How can I solve this?

Open up Settings.app > Notifications and see what's suppose to be present in notifications. Tap on them, then go down to Sounds and turn it off. It might be that you turned Banner displays and NC displays off but left the sound on. That way, it'll still vibrate or ring even though it's not displaying in Notifications center and not popping up in Banners.
