So I had problems downloading the iPhone 4 5.1.1 Software Update via iTunes on my Mac, so I decided to download an .ipsw for it and get the software on my phone that way. So once the 5.1.1 .ipsw downloaded, I went to my device in iTunes and restored it with that file. Once it was done restoring, however, I think my iPhone might have automatically backed up the phone data. So now, when I try to restore from a backup, the only one I have with my device says the date/time AFTER the restore, so all my settings and everything-all gone. Is there ANY way I can restore my phone from a backup before the restoration? Please someone help me out. Is the previous backup in my HD? I'm running on a Mac and my iTunes is up to date. I have an iPhone 4 CDMA.
Every time I plug my phone in, it backs up, usually. But when I restored my phone, that Backup that I had was replaced with another one, that doesn't have any of my data on it I think.
