iphone stuck after battery replacement

i just replaced the battery on my iphone 5 and now it just straight away it started going onto the connect to power screen and back to a black screen 5 seconds later, it does this over and over without me pressing anything, cant go in dfu aswell

Try plugging the phone into the wall and do a HOME button POWER button reset while plugged in. If it comes up and continues to work once unplugged you are good to go. If not, you have a defective battery.
