Iphone4. Apps stuck in waiting mode

Ok I give up I cannot find a solution to my apps being stuck , the only thing left to do is RESTORE and I don't want to do that , I want to delete them but they won't budge, even in iTunes ....

Not quite sure what you are doing. Is iTunes stuck?

Reboot when in doubt.

Go into safe mode and retry. Might be a mobile substrate problem

Hi I have 9 apps on my iPhone 4 homescreen that say waiting, they won't finish updating,when I try to delete them they wiggle but nothing happens, I have reset my settings, I have tried to delete them on iTunes but their still there, I don't know what else to do. Thanks for responding.... D

Try a hard reset. Hold the power button and the home button down at the same time until the apple logo appears. Release both and wait for it to boot up again. Also, have you tried double clicking the home button and closing out all the apps on the bar?
