To connect the data line + power supply, and then hold the Home button, until you reach the "voice control". This time pulled out data line, Home button can return to normal. This is the voltage charge balance problem,​

Many of us have Home button problems. However, your solution above is hard to decipher! But thanks anyway.

I lock then slide to unlock it to fix the insensitive problem. That what I often do on iPhone, thanks.

Ok... w/ the iPhone plugged in. Hold the home button till the Voice Control comes up... then unplug the cord from your iPhone. Always looking for new ways to increase Home button operation. I'll give it a whirl and report back.

Thanks Super.... Anything that would help to improve Home Button operation would be beneficial to many of us. (Do you have a problem with this too?) Personally, I think it's a hardware problem with the mechanical switch -- the same kind the new iPhone 5 is "supposed" to come up with again. Gag.....
