iphone4 verizon screen replacement issue

Hey guys I'm new here to the forum, but iv messed with a lot of macs. So here my thing, I went to fix a cracked verizon iphone 4 screen. And I did it all fine then when I went to power on. The screen wouldn't turn on. But the backlight worked and it would make a few noises when buttons where pushed. But I just can't figure this out if anyone has any ideas I would really enjoy the imput.

When your screen is inoperable (in one way or another) after replacement you should always start by taking the iPhone apart again, checking the screen & digitizer ribbons for creases or damage, make sure all screws and grounding clips are in place during reassembly, and check the ribbon connectors and their sockets on the logic board for damage. If everything checks out then perhaps you've purchased a faulty screen and need to turn it in for warranty issues... or purchase another screen.
