Is it possible to change the screen glass only?

Hi,my iphone 4g's screen was accidently cracked.
The screen and the touch works 100%,the camera either.
Is it possible to change the cracked screen glass only?
I saw ebay selling seperated glasses for 4g Iphones.
The screen is cracked hard in the front camera area which is full of small cracked glass pieces,is it possible to get it removed and replaced by a new one without changing the touchscreen itself?

I know it's pricy but send it to apple. That way you wont void your warranty on the entire phone.

My friend is a phone technic,he can do pretty much whatever I'll ask him to.
I just want to know what part to order,the complex Touch+Glass,or I can replace the glass only,cause the whole phone works great and has no problems at all,only the cracked glass.
