Is itunes Important?

So now that I've got an iphone should I spend more time getting familiar with itunes?

I might be the minority here but I've never cared to use itunes and only briefly owned an iphone touch.

How important do you think it will be in the everyday use of your iphone?

you should get together with someone who is familiar with itunes and let them show you around the program.

I think it is very important - if for no other reason than it is by far the most effective way to sync and keep your OS up to date.

+1 you need iTunes, iTunes on your computer makes it easier to surf for Apps in my opinion in addition to everything else you'll need it for..

Also, check out some different online and written books regarding iTunes. Believe it or not, it will do much more than you think. You just need to know where to go to get access to the different areas. Many people discount it but don't know how to scratch beneath the surface.

Looks like I'll need to start watching some videos and reading up on how to use it better. The phone ships in tomorrow. I'll spend some time tonight installing it and letting it find all my stuff.

iTunes is essential if you ask me. It can take a bit of time to get use to but once you do it's very easy to get it to do what you need...
