Is there a call log history (for individual no's)

Hello. Is there a way to check on an individual number's call history?
On my old Android I could look under "call log" for the number I wanted, select that number then it gave me a history dating back to when I first dialled that number, of dates and times of when I texted or dialled that number, and when they contacted me.
This was incredibly useful for tracking when I had made contact with people, surely Android wouldn't have come up with something soooo useful, and then Apple not offer it too?!
Is this possible on iphone 5 please?

Under recent in the phone app would be the closest thing. Won't show a "history" under a persons name but will show in order what's been done if that makes sense.
