Issues receiving texts...

Hey, I'm new to the Iphone world, and am having an issue with my brand new 4s. For some reason sometimes when people text me I only receive the second half of the text. It seems to mainly occur when they are sending long texts. Just wondering if this problem is normal? If anyone else is experiencing it? Does anyone know how to fix it? Thanx.

I don't believe its a problem on your side. The same thing happens to me when i receive texts from my friends using Blackberrys or other devices that are not iPhones
