Issues with not hearing or begin heard

Ok so I've had in less then 48 hrs 6 times were I was on the phone and either they couldn't hear me or I couldn't hear them and 1 time in mid conversation could hear the other person then tried to put them On speaker and still couldn't hear them. Anyone else having or had this issue.

Did you check your signal bars? Anything happen around it?

My first day it was very hard to hear people on the other line.. A few calls I've made today I haven't seemed to notice the same problem. Nothing was going on with my signal, I checked... I haven't made enough actual phone calls to know anything for sure
But when I did speaker phone, it was definitely plenty loud

I've done this one two previous iPhones, make sure the plastic film, is removed that covers the ear piece, if you did and it's still quiet, with volume all the way up, you may have a bad speaker.

Ahh! that could've been my problem. i haven't had the problem since I had my new screen protector put on and the old taken off

It's more when I'm on the phone and then all of a sudden there's no sound, Vzw did a trouble ticket, they've been in different places and towns I also talked with apple and if Vzw can't get it taken care of then apple said that they would switch it out.

Other then that I like the phone.

ive had a problem with my iphone 4 where it all of the sudden overnight stopped letting me hear anything when i receive or try to make calls. i can only hear the other person talking if i plug in head phones or put it on speaker. the plastic film is off and my temper is rising!! i cant take it to an apple store because im using a t mobile on it.. someone please help me!!!!!!

If you are using T-Mobile, you are on the wrong forum. T-Mobile uses GSM; Verizon uses CDMA. When I first tried the iPhone, it was only available on AT&T, and I had too many incompleted and dropped calls so I cancelled my account. Since I have been using my iPhone on Verizon...my experience has been PERFECT.

Bottom line ... AT&T+iPhone=Miserable Service
