iTouch vs. iPhone

Is it true that an iTouch will only function as a phone, [on Wifi and over Skype, etc.] with an external headset?

So this would seem to make iPhone a better choice if I am only going to use it carrier-free and on Wifi?

Yes, you should get the iphone so you are able to make and receive calls.

I agree. I would totaly go for the Ipone over an Ipod touch since the Iphone can do everything a Ipod can do and hey it even makes real phone calls

If you are ok with your phone and have access to wifi all the time then get the iPod and save your self $30ish dollars a month in cell phone data fees. If you want Internet regardless of where you are then get the iPhone. Just know you don't need a headset for the iPod.
