It's been quite awhile since we've heard anything about a future Jailbreak update for iOS 6 or iOS 7. As our readers may know, the iOS 6 jailbreak currently stops at iOS 6.1.2 being that latest firmware to be Jailbroken. Folk who aren't on that firmware are out of luck for the time being, as Apple has stopped signed iOS 6.1.2.
iOS hacker and developer Winocm has been working on a Jailbreak for firmwares iOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 the past few months and it looks like he's getting really close to a release. Winocm recently tweeted that the ETA for the iOS 6.1.3/4 Jailbreak release will be before 2014.
Those of you who are stuck without a Jailbreak should stay at your current firmware and be patient. Meanwhile, the evad3rs are currently working on an iOS 7 Jailbreak but there is currently no ETA.
