Jailbreak iphone 3g with cydia, thought deleting cydia and apps would de-jailbreak...

Inexperienced i know, but i jailbroke my iphone 3g 8gb a year ago using cydia and winterboard (i think).
Jailbroke it to the ipad baseband and of course got warned about factory restoring it would basically mess my phone up.
Selling the phone now and thought by deleting and uninstalling cydia and all packages would clear it from problems when i restored.
Restored through itunes and now stuck in recovery mode.
Cannot get into DFU mode, cannot get onto home screen, basically stuck in recovery loop...

Is there anyway to get passed this?
Jailbroke it with my old laptop which is gone (if that makes any difference).

Oh and tried irecovery and two others.

The link won't fix the problem for the OP... iPad baseband has been installed, a custom firmware is required to restore iPhone to stock...
