jailbreak taking so long

Hi , I jailbreak my iphone 4(4.1) but it had ‘’NO SERVICE’’ so I went and restored it and it updated itself to 4.2 , so rejailbreak and it seems everything went good but now after reboot my iphone is stuck in the progress bar. Does it normally take this long to finish( about 2 hours now)?? How should i wait for it to finish? Thanks

your you using an official carrier? did you try jailbreak 4.2.1?
