Jailbreaking AppleTV 2G 4.1

Hi iFreeks lol.
Not sure if this belongs here but I like these fourms.
I have been trying all day to Jailbreak my Apple TV without success.
I have followed this link to the tee but keep getting 1600 and 1602 errors.

As the firmware is updating I get 1600 error after 20 seconds, so I ran iREB to stop error 1600 from showing up and now it starts updating firmware alot longer now maybe a couple of minutes, thinking it was working then a 1602 error appears, arhhhh.
I don't know if it has something to do with the fact I updated the Apple TV device to 4.1 yesterday while it was connected to the TV.
Can anyone help please?

BTW, I have tried this on a Desktop PC running Windows 7 x64, a laptop running Windows 7 x86 and a Desktop PC running Windows XP x86.

I just got one of these units also and would like to do something with it.The link you provided does not list Apple TV as one of its supported devices unless I am missing something.

This might be a pricey option,but I will look into it as a simple solution when it is released(within a week)

ok just try this on another PC or create a new user on your PC and install itunes and try it again under the new user

Bobik, I just did a clean install of XP on a new computer and installed the latest itunes, I think my problem is that I updated the unit to 4.1 last night

Tried new user, same but this time I get 1600 error, iREB don't want to work on XP
