Jailbreaking Sprint iPhone?

I've never had the Sprint iPhone before and I want to jailbreak it but I'm not sure if I should since it doesn't run with a simcard. Does jailbreaking a Sprint iPhone mess it up in any way? Not the phone itself because I know if something goes wrong i can just reset it but would it do anything like unsubcribe my phone from sprint or something? Does anybody have a jailbroken sprint iphone that could tell me more about it...
