My name is Shehzad and I am from India. I have recently bought a new 3Gs 8gb and want to jailbreak it. I have learned and studied the procedure from a famous sit called jailbreaknation.com. I found it easy as they recommend a software called redsnow in which it is as easy as installing some random software in a computer (next, next, etc., done). Is it safe to do?

And yes, redsn0w is the Jailbreak software that you'd need to use for your 3GS.
