I want to apologize in advance if this has been asked before but, do the iPhone 4s's come with 5.0.1 or 5.1 now that it has been a while since its been released? Thank you.

It really is a crapshoot, TBH. I would say that phones in the Apple store are probably on iOS 5.1, due to high turnover. But, you may find one in a store somewhere that still has the older version.

It really is a game of chance, with the odds decreasing against finding one with iOS 5.0.1 as more time goes by.

I bought mine a few weeks ago and it was on 5.0.1. But a few weeks in the world of mobile phones is like decades.
