Apple Watch delays.JPG

According to a report on AppleInsider today, if you didn’t manage to pre-order an Apple Watch you could be waiting for over a month to get your hands on one.

In the original report from German Apple site Macerkopf, it was noticed that on Apple’s German store website delivery dates for the Sport model are from April 24 to May 8. The stainless steel Watch with sports bands, classic leather straps, and Milanese loop all have the same delivery dates.

As far as Edition Watches are concerned, no specific delivery date is given, only “May.”

AppleInsider reported last month that it had heard from sources that supplies of the Apple Watch might be fairly low at launch, due to production issues “at every stage of the development.” However, AppleInsider notes that these issues have been known to Apple for quite some time, so most likely Apple was forewarned that delays would occur.

Source: Apple Watch could debut with 4-6 week lead times for some models

Isn't this a little premature since the pre-order doesn't even start for almost 37 hours?
