Linked iphone 5 with old iphone 4

I upgraded to an iphone5 and gave my old phone to my daughter. We recently connected the old one for her and when I was entering her new number my phone advised that my number was already associated with that phone and would I link it linked. Before I realised I hit yes and now I am receiving text messages from her phone. Can anyone help me in un-linking the two phones.

Firstly,backup both of the phone’s data to PC/Mac and reset both of the phones and try syncing data from iCloud to their respective accounts.


Well, there must be one point in common.
If you are using different iCloud/Apple ID’s AND seperated user accounts on one computer or use different PCs maybe you are using or syncing contacts by other means e.g. via Google or from one machine to the other using a tool like SyncMate
