LinkedIn App Gets Updated With All-New Inbox

The LinkedIn iPhone app has just had a major update which the official LinkedIn Blog has posted details about. According to the blog, the new update has concentrated on two key areas: improving the look and functionality of the Inbox, in order to make it easier to manage communications with your professional network, and giving you a new way to keep tabs on what your professional network is doing on LinkedIn. As far as the first of these two aims goes, the new Inbox has been rebuilt to make it easier to answer your messages when you’re on the move, with quick access to viewing the messages that you’ve received, and the ability to access your Sent and Archived messages with just one tap. As far as the second aim goes, the update means that it is now possible to instantly view the Recent Activity of any one of your connections in their profile, so that those with a big network of connections don’t miss out on important updates from colleagues.
