Linking phone to car stereo

Hiya all....newbie here and I'm not mega technical.

I'm trying to connect the Mrs 8 plus to a pioneer DEH-S400BT car stereo, the problem I'm having is I can't seem to make a call , the music transfers and I can answer a call but when trying to access the phone book it isn't in any sort of order and there appears to be no numbers associated with the names.

Any help would be greatefully appreciated

Have you established a Bluetooth connection between your car and the phone and is it activated on both?

Hi and thanks for the reply. Yes it's paired up ok as it receives calls and plays music. It's just a problem with the transfer of the phone book

Normally one has to tell the radio to download the phones address book. I don't have a pioneer radio or manual so I can't be much more help.
