Long painful story, need advice

Hi all, i have had sent to me an iphone 5 from 3 and i have had a bad network experience with them so i'm sending it back for a refund.

However i have been to the apple store and had it replaced twice as they both had defects.

So when 3 receive the phone they will see a different IMIE number than that on the box right ?

Is this going to cause an issue as its not the same phone they sent me ?

Don't want to call them as they might log it down on my account.

Would have the IMIE number transferred to the new phones ?

Apple swaps it for you when changing out the phone. You should be good to go.

I have had to do this with Verizon with androids. They will switch it for you. But you can speak with a Verizon tec once you get the replacement and ask him to cross check the IMIE to make sure they match with your current phone.

Just spoke to apple care and they said it should be ok as they will be able to look up that the phone was genuinely swapped by apple.

By the way im returning the phone for refund to go on another network not just swapping the phone over.
