Looking for a app or tweak

Okay let's say I'm using wifi and I have a app running that I never want to get closed (like a downloading app). Is it a app or tweak that can accomplish this?

Not without jailbreaking or tweaking with developer access. I think this can be done on the iPad simply by install Quasar from Cydia. The core is programmed to try to free up as much memory as possible, and keeping an application opened and running and downloading would defeat that goal from Apple. If you're downloading an app from the AppStore, it'll continue to download even if AppStore is closed

Thanks for the help. I've tried quasar but experienced a few problems. I was hoping it would have been updated by now.
