looking for an app like MxTube but not really

So sometimes I stumble upon a great song while I'm on the go and have no access to a computer.
Is there an app that I can just download an MP3 version of the youtube song and not the whole video clip from youtube?

My main goal here is to be able to lock my phone and still have music coming through my car stereo.
But MxTube as soon as you lock the phone the music stops

There are certain radio apps that find songs that are currently playing on Internet radio by typing in song titles or other keywords. Of course this isnt ideal when driving, mind you neither is MxTube. Lol...

I only change songs during appropriate times such as stop lights or when there's no one in front of me
