Had what I thought was a minor problem with my new iPhone 6+ earlier today but found a surprising solution. Surprising to me at least.
I was sitting in my new car which has Uconnect and of course I have the iPhone linked up for phone and player use. As I'm working on the phone I noticed many of the system sounds such as the keyboard click, lock sound, new mail and text message notification sounds weren't working.
Turns out the Uconnect link disables those sounds probably because they'd be fairly annoying when heard through the audio system of the car. All I had to do to get the sounds back was shut off the car but walking out of range would do it too.
Ain't technology amazing?
