Mad Catz' started selling its Made For iOS gamepad through its website and Amazon earlier this morning. The accessory company currently offers two versions of its gamepad, the CTRLi and the CTRLi Micro, both officially shipping starting today.
Both gamepads resemble a standard Xbox One controller, similar to the SteelSeries Stratus XL. The CTRLi is that standard size model, while the Micro is shrunk in size. The CTRLi gamepads support iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, as both models include a removable grip for an iPhone and iPod Touch.
The standard CTRLi currently retails at $49.99, while the Micro is only $39.99, both devices currently undercut other MFi gamepads out there. The controllers sync to iOS via Bluetooth and require AAA batteries, which could be a hassle, but also include a charging cable if the juice runs out. If you're looking for a cheap gamepad for iOS, one of the CTRLi just might be the best for your buck.
