Mail app issues with gmail

When sinking with Mail i get message "wrong user neame or password"
I have changed the passowrd and retyped user id. I have deleted account and reinstalled account. Still get the message. At wits end:-(. Please help! Running latest ios native mail app. Thanks

I have also using the exchange server. A friend of mine has too. Sounds like a normal issue that comes and goes. Just have either keep hitting cancel or just re enter your password
