Last week we got word that Microsoft managed to sell the Nokia brand to none other than Foxconn, Apple's go to iPhone manufacturer for $350 million. On Wednesday, the Windows maker announced that it would be cutting up to 1,350 jobs at Microsoft Mobile Oy in Finland, ending its Nokia experiment.
“We will continue to innovate across devices and on our cloud services across all mobile platforms,” said Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. The $350 million deal includes an "exclusive global license" to build Nokia-branded phones and tablets for 10 years.
