MLB At Bat Icon Help

Someone please help......I want to change the icons on my apps....don't really want a "theme", just change different icons. I've read post on here and seen videos on youtube about how to do it but I'm still a little hesitant. Can someone give a detailed description on how to do this.....step by step.....describing it like I'm a 4 year old. The one I'm most interested in changing is the MLB At Bat icon to a Yankees logo. Please help....I'm even willing to pay for the help. Thanks!!

OK....well I think I found where the MLB At Bat file is but I want to make sure I'm changing the right thing. Also I want to know if I can use any type of icon as long as it's a png and 118x118 pixels....is this right? When I change the file has it got to be the same file name as the one I'm exchanging it with? Sorry for all the questions....I'm an idiot and I want to make sure I'm doing it right.
