Monitor Home from iPhone?

Anyone know of a good app/system to use your iPhone to check in at home? Perhaps using your camera on your MBP to keep an eye on things?

Recently my dog was hurt and I would like to be able to check in on him when I am not home.

Do you mean to set a home security camera and see the live screen on your iPhone?

I have a few cameras at home 2 wired and 1 wireless all work well with an app called IP cam Viewer from the app store.

I run Icam at home with 4 cameras and at work using 16 cameras to monitor our building. It's got push notifications and motion recording. No need to constantly monitor it, only when the sensor gets tripped.
