Monkey Island 2 On Sale for Limited Time

Pocket Gamer reports today that LucasArts' iPhone/iPod touch Special Edition version of Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge, one of the greatest point-and-click adventure games of all time, is now available in the App Store for the knock-down price of £0.59/$0.99, which is actually quite a steal as the game was originally priced at £4.99/$7.99 when it was released back in July. Unfortunately for iPad owners, at present only the iPhone/iPod touch version is discounted, with the iPad version still selling for its original retail price of £5.99/$9.99. Only fair really though, as Pocket Gamer points out, the iPad version features higher resolution graphics and audio commentary tracks.

All those who want to snap up a classic game at a bargain price, click here. Be quick though, the offer is only for a limited time. There's also a free Lite version of the game for both the iPhone and iPad editions if you want to try before you buy.
