MacRumors has pictures of parts aplenty from the next iPhone on its site today, which may or may not be called the iPhone 4S, the jury is still out on that one! For starters, they have pictures of what are said to be iPhone 4S casing pieces, which point to the phone being very similar to the iPhone 4, as you might expect, but with two antenna breaks at the bottom of the case, which is different from the antenna break placing in both the Verizon and the AT&T iPhone 4s. The casing also seems to indicate a possible sim card slot. The picture of the bottom part of the frame also seems to indicate that the home button area is very different to that of the iPhone 4.
Next up on MacRumors we have the back cover of a prototype iPhone, with the internal model number N94. MacRumors says that this leads them to think that the back cover in the picture is for the iPhone 5, and that it will contain the A5 chip, mainly because of previous evidence surround the N94 that has leaked out over the past few months.
Last but not least, MacRumors also has pictures of what is said to be the iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 logic board (they are not sure which), which also point to the new phone having an A5 chip.
If this thing doesn't turn out to have an A5 chip after all, everyone is going to be pretty disappointed!
