Most of us at some point have played the fighting game series Mortal Kombat at least once in our lives. The game became a hit on consoles and the series still runs today, with Mortal Kombat X releasing next month for Playstation and Xbox.
On Monday, developer NetherRealm Studios announced that Mortal Kombat X would also be released on iOS and Android. Don't get too excited, as the developer stated the mobile version is a ""free-to-play fighting/card-battler hybrid". It's going to be weird to see a fighting game, such as Mortal Kombat, turned into something that's not what were used to.
The mobile version of the game is set to release alongside the console version on April 14th. Players will be able to unlock content on the mobile version for the console version, and vice versa. Check out the trailer above.
