Movie Download on a 4s

Is it as easy to download and watch a movie on a 4s as it is my iPad? Just wondering how long it would take to download and if it would play as well as on my iPad. I'm assuming I have the memory to download it off iTunes. They usually run 4GB on my iPad.

It's all down to your Internet connection speed, but sometimes the iTunes store can have a very slow uploading speed though.
