My IOS Iphone 4 won’t wifi sync

I thought it was user error as I had the same issue the first time I set it up but it eventually worked. I turned the option off by mistake and now it won’t wifi sync at all…

I have called Apple and downloaded Icloud panel and did the 7 steps for troubleshooting and nothing. I have the device on itunes sent to sync over wifi and I have it physically plugged in to charge to do so but the options remakes grayed out.

I am going to pull out my hair. I rarely need to sync but I would like the option everyone else has. Can anyone help?

It has been buggy for me from the get go. No need to go bald, just sync with your cord for now until it gets stabilized.
