My iphone is empty

Dear all,

I accidentally deleted all of the contents and settings from my iphone4.
Rather saying I was too curious than "accidentally" ... =(
I did the jailbreak (green poison) few months ago.
Now, my iphone is all black, only with green poison's skull logo on screen.
May I know what can I do to make my iphone4 alive?
I appreciate with any comments and suggestions. I am feeling so lost since my phone can't work properly...

Plug your phone into your computer and open iTunes. Give it about a second and see if your phone shows up in the left pane

I tried it for couple of times but it didn't show up.
I should plug my phone into my laptop before I open iTunes? or the sequence doesn't really matter?

You probably need to put the iphone in recovery mode....

try this:

1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes

2. Plug your USB cable into your computer.

3. Turn your iPhone off by holding the power button down until you see “slide to power off”. Do as instructed.

4. Now press and hold the Home button while reconnecting the USB cable to your iPhone. After iPhone is connected it should power on the device.

5. Continue holding the Home button, you will see the Apple logo appear and then finally a “Connect to iTunes” will be displayed, now is the time to release the Home button.

You probably need to put the iphone in recovery mode....

I couldn't turn my iphone off. I hold the power button for long but the power-off slide bar nvr shown. The screen remain black, with a green poison's logo.
