need help ASAP please!!!!!!!

i got an iphone with the recovery screen but every time i try to exit recovery mode it cant not even with a custom firmware i took to a friend and he said that the person that tried to restore it at first updated the baseband to the ipad one so now i need help to see if anybody knows a custom firmware for the ipad baseband i have a iphone 3gs please help!!!!!!!

Yeah if you jailbroke it with the custom firmware that contains the ipad bb, you can only restore with that same type of custom firmware from then on. Just look online for a custom 4.2.1, ipad baseband, firmware. Theres bound to be one available.
