MacRumors reports today on a story picked up by the Stop it, AT&T blog, about a new job advert posted by Apple for a Carrier Engineer in Kansas City, Missouri to work with carriers. Heres the advert in full:
Member of the Carrier Engineering team that supports taking products through technical approval at the carriers. A Carrier Engineer team is responsible for day-to-day technical interactions with the one or more carriers to track down issues reported by the carrier, assist the carrier with testing they might be conducting and working with program management, software development and test teams to get products approved by the carriers.
So what?! I hear you cry! Well, according to MacRumors and the original source at Stop it, AT&T, Kansas City is not a location that usually pops up in Apple Staff ads, and it just so happens that Sprints headquarters are in the Kansas City suburb of Overland Park. So, could this be yet another indication that a Sprint iPhone is on the way?
