New contact disappears

When I create a new contact on my iPhone 4, it saves and then disappears after about 10 seconds. All pre-existing contacts are still there. This just started happening and occurs whether I add the new contact directly into Contacts or create it from a Recent Call.

I have tried rebooting and resetting to no avail.

Hard reset the phone.

Have you down loaded anything new prior to this issue, if so than you will have to delete it and re-install it so the app can take full effect.

Update: A couple hours later I looked at Contacts and the disappearing contact is in the list. No comprendo why this happened.

bab2010: Thanks for your response. I had done a reset prior to posting.

jbs06civicsi: I frequently try new apps. Don't know how many I've installed &/or deleted before this issue arose. I don't frequently add contacts so hadn't noticed.
