Welcome to the forum. I'm waiting for the factory unlock type of the iPhone 4S before take the plunge, but now I'm thinking waiting till early next year like February before buy it because I want to make sure that I will be able to untether jailbreak it. I'm now reading that iPhone 4S might not be jailbreak able or it will take time to see a jailbreak. So I got to wait.
