I am a long time iPhone user, still on my 3G, but I hope to upgrade soon.
My main dilemma is whether to switch to verizon.

Good point to consider. Go to the Verizon and ATT "coverage" maps and see which service covers your area in 3G cellular the best. (Use Google to find those coverage sites)

If I were you and I really wanted to stick to iPhones, I'd stay in AT&T. I'd also look at 4G coverage maps and wait for the 4G capable ones

What are some reasons you would stay with at&t? I know it would be less hassle, but why else?
