Good that you're interested in learning about the phone. I try too, but there are soooo many things about the phone not documented, and a forum like this is a great place to start. In the meanwhile, I'd recommend that you download and look at the iPhone 4 Users Manual. Google it and you'll find it -- it's on Apple's web site, and probably other places.
