New iPhone 5 - and now I get pop ups in safari

I am getting pop ups, even with the pop up blocker turned on in my settings. I never had any on my 3G or 4. What gives?

Is this a new 5 issue or do I have something set up wrong?

What can I do to stop this?

Also the battery goes down pretty quickly, is there a bug fix for this?

I get those on several different forums. VERY ANNOYING!!!!

Can you give us a link to the site that this is happening at? Is it this one?

Have you tried another browser? I've been using Chrome because with Chrome on your computer you can use an app or tow to send links to either phone or computer. Try another browser, see if this is happening.

It's really unlikely that it's got anything to do with the phone. Check your settings/safari and scroll down to Block Pop up. Make sure that is on.
