AppleInsider writes today that a new photo has appeared online of what is claimed to be the first sighting of the iPhone 5s A6 processor. The photo was posted on Twitter by Sonny Dickson, and is said to show the next iPhones logic board complete with A6 processor. If the picture of the processor is genuine, then it would indicate an upgrade from the A5 chip that was used in the iPhone 4S and the A5X chip with upgraded graphics that powers the newest iPad. AppleInsider says that its actually a very big if, however, despite the fact that the actual logic board seems similar to other iPhone 5 logic board photos that have been posted previously. The image is very low quality, and therefore could very easily be a fake. Still, lets hope that it is actually genuine, as it would be great to see the new chip for the first time and to have confirmation of the existence of the A6 chip.
