The folks at iFixit just worked their surgical magic on the new iPhone 5S. If you are squeamish at the sight of iPhone guts you might want to look away. Otherwise, for those who are curious about the innards of the best smartphone on the planet, you will be happy to check out the breakdown.
The dissection revealed some interesting factoids about the new device. For example, the battery is now a bit larger at 1560mAh compared to the previous 1440mAh of the iPhone 5. Also, the cable connecting the fingerprint sensor to the Lightning port is new, and the pull-out tab for the battery is no longer there like it was in the previous model.
