I've just replaced the battery in my old reserve iPhone 4, which has been dead for about 4 months. Followed the proceedure from a youtube instruction video, and found it to be a cinch. The phone powered up with 55% reserve, which "came with the battery". However, the battery won't charge. When I plug it in, and I've used 3 different charge methods, the battery level indicator doesn't appear, and no power is taken on. I've taken the battery out and fitted it again a couple times more but no joy. Any ideas ?
